PUSH Might Be Retiring From The Magic Kingdom While Universal CityWalk Is Crossing The Border

Over the past week, the United States has experienced some bone chilling temperatures and many people banded together to survive the snowpocalypse in Atlanta Georgia. I must admit that I had to break out the windbreaker jacket here in Florida; so let’s snap this cold snap with hot rumors.
A lot of talk has been going around Orlando that PUSH the trash can is retiring this weekend. PUSH has made many child hood memories in tomorrowland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. PUSH is a remote controlled trash can that is operated by a hidden cast member somewhere in the distance. PUSH interacts by talking to guests giving some humorous remarks while they are intrigued by its intelligence. I remember the first time seeing PUSH as a child and right away knew it was the coolest trash can ever. I always wondered what would happen if someone tried to throw trash in it. PUSH truly was a treat to see while visiting the park and will surely be missed if the rumors pan out. Some people are speculating that PUSH may be getting upgraded but signs are pointing to PUSH may have the same fate as Figment, the dragon from Epcot. I think Disney will see how much PUSH means to their loyal guest and will it make a triumphed return in the coming months. Disney has been upgrading a lot of electronics in the park, so it only makes sense PUSH gets a make over.
Meanwhile at Universal Orlando’s City Walk, Antojitos Mexican restaurant opened. It truly is a beautiful sight to see at night time; the colors of the building feel like you been smacked in the face by the spirit of South Beach, Miami. This is a great place to chill out and enjoy authentic cuisine with your family. Downstairs dining is geared to a more casual experience, but guys throw on some fancy slacks and head up stairs for a more upscale experience with your loved one. You will experience a real treat watching how your fresh guacamole prepared tableside. A must try is the menonita shrimp (bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with menonita cheese, manchego corn pudding, and a poblano chorizo sauce), but you can never go wrong with the Tacos and sizzling Enchiladas. Antojitos is open nightly from 5pm to midnight, so make sure to get their early to grab a table. Take some time to enjoy the traditional Mexican entertainment or sample some favorite Mexican Alcohol and even soda!
Starting this Saturday, the soul of New Orleans will be flowing through everyone visiting Universal Studios. For the next few months until after Memorial Day, Mardi Gras is back and I can’t wait to have me some Cajun food. On a side note, deep fried alligator is a must have if you ever get a chance to experience it. The concert series the park holds will be full of headliners, such as Robin Thicke “The Blurred Lines Guy Who Got Twerked On By Miley”, Chris Daughtry, Huey Lewis, and more. The best part is that this is all included in your admission price. Enjoy watching the vibrant floats while hearing the sounds of a Naw’lins Jazz band. You can catch me on the steamboat heading down the bayou; this will be some event!
